THE BASEMENT’S The Elevator Shaft is their new second chapter. It isn’t just a worthy successor; it’s a vastly superior one.

Human garbage Martin Shkreli was convicted of securities fraud earlier this year, and the Feds are looking to recover $7.4 million he illegally obtained. So… they are going after his never-released Wu Tang album, a Picasso, and an authentic German Enigma machine, among other things. Two thoughts come to mind:

  1. I’m pretty sure that this could be the setup for an escape room.
  2. There’s going to be another Enigma machine on the market!

SMOSH made an escape room about one of the worst films ever made (the Honest Trailer for this thing is amazing), and brought its star in to lumber through it. This video is just as funny as it is painful to watch.
