Summer? We don’t know her.
Update 4/2/24: If you enjoyed this article, we hope you’ll check out our interview with Jason & Marketa Richard of Steal and Escape on The Reality Escape Pod.

Steal and Escape certainly stole our hearts with their newest escape room, The Missing Season. In the latest episode of the Spoilers Club, we sat down with owner and designer Jason Richard to go behind-the-scenes of this charming, narrator-driven game.
From the opening scene to all the interactive props, there’s a ton of fun surprises packed into The Missing Season. Jason tells us he thought this might be the last escape room he builds, so he wanted to go all out and include every idea he’s wanted to put in a game. He was like a kid bringing his favorite toys to the party for us to play with.
This game was crafted with a ton of love and enthusiasm. I especially enjoyed the audio details in this game, and you’ll get to revisit them again in this episode. Jason shares his entire thought process behind building The Missing Season, and we break it all down for you in this month’s Spoilers Club.
