This spring we are headed to New Mexico. This will be our second tour to this destination!

During this tour you’ll experience the intersection of sets, interactions, and art. We’ll explore how the escape rooms in Albuquerque have been heavily influenced by the movie industry. And we’ll take a trip to the original Meow Wolf to experience wonder at The House of Eternal Return.

Past Tours

We have run 10 sold out tours to 7 different cities.

Orlando 2023

The top escape rooms in Orlando showcase humor, inventive interaction design, and character-driven storytelling. On this escape room tour, we visited Doldricks, The Bureau, and The Escape Ventures where we experienced a variety of design styles, and some incredible one-of-a-kind escape games.

This tour included two Premium Extensions, where smaller groups of guests took a bus to The Exit Games FL in Clearwater, Florida, to experience their world class experiences. The first Premium Extension sold out during Patreon Pre-Sale!

Montreal 2023

This tour was so popular that we ran two sessions of it! We were wowed by the novelty at Sauve Qui Peut, the storytelling at Immersia, and the grand scope of Escaparium. Escaparium is building at a scale that few would even think to rival.

Montreal has most impressive set design in North America, and it was a joy to spend time together enjoying them!

New Orleans 2022

We returned to New Orleans for a third time in November of 2022. Clue Carré, Escape My Room, and 13th Gate Escape welcomed us back and showed off their newest games. Two of the games we showcased at Rise Escape Rooms as part of the 2018 tour had been acquired at upgraded by 13th Gate Escape, so we got to experience these reincarnations.

As always, we enjoyed great food and conversation together.

New Mexico 2022

In June 2022, we hosted a 4 day tour featuring 9 fantastic escape games from New Mexico Escape Room, Bust Out, and Puzzah!, along with a day trip to Meow Wolf’s House of Eternal Return in Santa Fe.

Albuquerque, New Mexico, was a hidden gem of an escape room market where the games were absolutely gorgeous and featured gameplay styles that changed from game to game.

The Hayden Farm 2021

In November 2021, we hosted a one-day tour to 13th Hour Escape Rooms in Wharton, NJ. This is one of our favorite companies in our home market, and it is very difficult for folks in NYC to visit… so we ran a bus from Midtown Manhattan. When we put tickets on sale, we expected most of our attendees to come from New York, but half of them traveled long distances. It was a great time.

The games at 13th Hour are creepy and whimsical, and we brought in their seasonal actors to host the games adding a special element that most players never get to experience. To learn more about this experience, check out Richard Burns’ write up on the actors-as-gamemasters at 13th Hour.

Montreal 2021

In October 2021, we hosted our first international tour in Montreal. Originally scheduled for 2020, this event was delayed a few times on account of the pandemic, but we were finally able to make it happen… and it was wonderful. With 61 people in attendance, everyone successfully made it to Montreal, and we had zero positive tests coming or going.

The games were also a delight. The escape rooms in Montreal combine detailed set design with puzzle-forward gameplay as well as quirky themes and mechanics. New Orleans 2019

In July 2019, we brought back the most popular tour of 2018, hosting a new group of players in southern Louisiana for Escape Immerse Explore: New Orleans 2019.

Although Hurricane Barry threatened this tour with severe weather, we had a successful event. Escape My Room and Clue Carré were incredible hosts, working with us to pull off last minute schedule changes. We had a wonderful day bonding in the hotel with board games and puzzles. Explorers had the opportunity to squeeze in some extra escape rooms. 13th Gate Escape accommodated our group after the worst of the weather had blown by. This wasn’t the tour we’d planned, but it was an amazing weekend.

The Palace 2019

In June 2019, we hosted Escape Immerse Explore: The Palace 2019.

Palace Games is located in the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, CA. The Palace of Fine Arts was originally constructed for the 1915 World’s Fair and Palace Games draws on this history in their escape room designs. Palace Games offers some of the most incredible escape rooms in the country. It’s also really challenging for traveling players to book at Palace Games because the games are massive and they are all private booking.

We loved chatting with the groups as they stepped out of these expansive games. It was magical.

New Orleans 2018

In June 2018, we hosted Escape Immerse Explore: New Orleans 2018. We expanded the tour to include 9 escape rooms at 4 different companies in the region.

We met new friends and played new games. It was incredible. Read our thoughts at the end of it all.

New York 2017

In November 2017, we hosted Escape Immerse Explore: NYC 2017. This was a tailored tour through many of our favorite escape rooms in home city.
