My least favorite escape room cliche is when you tell someone about room escapes and they respond:

“Umm… that sounds like Saw…”

… With a shit-eating grin, clearly believing they are the most original, and snarkiest of conversation partners, and no one else in the world was clever enough to think up that gem.
