The 49 Boxes is a masterpiece. I haven’t played it yet, but I’ve seen a few of the props. I’ve seen the passion and craftsmanship of creator Michael Borys. And I’ve heard rave reviews from people whose opinions I trust.

As we spend a few days talking about how to create experiences at RECON, we also get to be the consumers. At RECON we believe play is important. It’s part of learning and building community. Plus, it’s fun!

We’ll be running multiple sessions of The 49 Boxes during RECON Los Angeles so that each RECON attendee gets to participate. It is included with your RECON ticket.

The 49 Boxes is thoughtfully architected into the event schedule. You will not miss any talks, Q&As or post-talk breakout sessions to participate in these experiences.Your pre-registration survey will help the RECON team book you into sessions that don’t conflict with your other interests (i.e. Birds of a Feather conversation topics) and give you the best opportunity to make lasting connections with other attendees.
