“I have a confession.”

I have a confession to make. It’s something I’ve known for years, but only recently have I really acknowledged and embraced it.

I have an addiction to game night. I love that feeling of matching wits with your friends, cheering when someone has come up with a particularly brilliant bit of wordplay, or cry-laughing when something has been horrendously botched. I love feeling smart when I’ve figured something out before everyone else, but I also love the mind-meld that happens when the group has worked together to solve something.

The other wonderful thing about game nights is the camaraderie. Whether it’s silly conversations, learning an interesting piece of trivia, or creating new inside jokes, it’s always a great time. So that’s my confession. I crave game nights all the time.

That’s why I created PG’s Playhouse. I wanted a podcast that would offer the feeling of a fun game night with friends, that anyone could enjoy while walking the dog, or on a daily commute. David co-hosts, bravely playing along with all the puzzles I’ve created. He also hosts a segment exploring an interesting tidbit of trivia. Of course, what’s game night without making new friends? We’ll also have different guests joining us.

Each episode features a puzzle, a short chat with the guest, and a segment exploring an interesting topic. If you love wordplay, word games, and trivia, I hope you’ll take a listen and play along with us at PG’s Playhouse.
