Room Escape Artist

The Top Escape Rooms Project is an attempt to find the very best escape rooms in the world by leveraging the experience of the most experienced escape room enthusiasts in the world. 

If you’ve played at least 200 escape rooms, this is your chance to nominate your favorite games for inclusion in the project. Approved nominators submit up to 10 rooms they believe belong in the conversation for best in the world. Nominations are due this week!

The Schedule

Nomination

In the nomination phase, the most experienced participants nominate the rooms that they feel are the most worthy of winning a TERPECA. Participants who have played at least 200 escape rooms can submit their nominations starting in early October, with a due date of October 31st.

Ranking

After the nomination phase, any room with a minimum number of nominations moves on to the ranking phase, in which participants who have played at least 100 escape rooms stack rank all the nominated rooms based on their own experiences. They can only rank rooms that they have personally played. Voting starts in early November and all votes are due by November 30th.

Results

Top Room winners are announced during the annual awards show on December 19th at 1:00 PM Pacific time.
