FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

April 1, 2024 – Room Escape Artist’s parent company, Livid Robot, Inc. has officially announced their first immersive venue under the brand Mind Goblin Escapes.

Mind Goblin Escapes will focus on producing the kinds of experiences that many people dream up, but don’t have the gumption to create.

Red goblin with a massive brain and a maniacal look. Text reads, "Mind Goblin"

The new venue will open with 4 experiences:

The Manhattan Project

A large format experience where the Mind Goblin team will lock hundreds of guests in the desert and make them do math.

Hot Great Old Ones

This single player game where host Cthulhu will reveal 10 cosmic truths to our guests. The Mind Goblin Escapes team guarantees a transformative experience.

Molly’s Game

A licensed escape game based on the hit film about an injured Olympic hopeful who turns to running illegal poker games for the rich and famous.

The Schrödinger Experience

This will be the World’s Greatest Escape Room™, with a twist. Without knowing it, a portion of groups will play a terrible version of the game. This will ensure that the escape room community will never stop talking about us.

The Mind Goblin Escapes team is excited to push the boundaries of escape rooms’ practicality, financial viability, and survivability.

I’m so disappointed this isn’t in my city…. Or plane of existence.

  2. This reminds us of something we did a few years ago for April fools. We declared opening an ER venue with games subsidized by a nearby university for allowing their psychology students to watch the games 🙂

One of the games we suggested was based on Larry Niven’s “The Smoke Ring” adding the element of actually flying during the game (in a vertical wind tunnel)

  3. Why can’t this be real, though?
