TERPECA is an international, community-driven endeavor to surface the finest games that our industry has produced. If you’ve played at least 200 escape rooms, this is your chance to nominate your favorite games for recognition.

The Nomination Period Is Open Now

The project consists of a nomination phase and a voting phase. You need to have played at least 200 games to nominate, and at least 100 games to vote.

Nominations are due October 31 at 11:59 PM Pacific.

Voting takes place in November. We’ll remind you again when it’s open.

The awards will be announced live on Saturday, December 21 at 1pm Pacific time.

Nominate Up To 10 Rooms

As of 2024, you are able to nominate a maximum of 10 rooms. This number has been reduced from past years, since TERPECA automatically advances each of last year’s Top Room winners as finalists. The rationale for this change is to reduce the incentive for nominators to game the system by not nominating rooms they are sure will advance to the voting round.

While You Wait For The Voting Window

Play more rooms! Not only will this help support the escape room industry, but the more rooms you play, the more impact you can have on their eventual ranking.

If you know anyone that has played 100 or more rooms and is not yet a member of the project, encourage them to sign up. And if you know anyone that has played 200 or more rooms and is not yet a member of the project, beg them to sign up!
