Room Escape Artist

This January, Room Escape Artist is introducing a new award that recognizes people who have taken incredible action in service of the escape room community.

Rather than honoring incredible games – as we have since 2015 with the Golden Lock Award – we are honoring incredible people who have taken actions to make our community better. The winners of this award have taken initiative and done extraordinary things in service of making the community more interesting and helping it thrive.

Of note, the Golden Lock Awards will continue to honor outstanding escape rooms throughout 2025.

The REAction Award is new award, bestowed annually. Here’s how to tune in for the REAction Award Show.

This is a short award show. There are only a few winners. But their contributions are outsized.
