We’ve never done a May the Fourth post here, and it probably won’t be a tradition… but a few weeks ago a Star Wars Fan Film was released for free on YouTube featuring past RECON speakers, Charlie Bond and James Hamer-Morton of Deadlocked Escape Rooms in Reading, England.
Echoes of Darkness: A Star Wars Fan Film is a ~30 minute film and it’s pretty great. Narratively, it feels like it exists in the space between Star Wars and Firefly, while the story is firmly placed in Star Wars mythology.

And they have recently opened their new game, The Reading Witch, a well-crafted horror game that brings some of the lessons of mainland Europe’s TERPECA-winning horror to England.
