It takes a lot to be vulnerable on stage. In this talk, escape room owner Byron Delmonico does just that.
He does this because he loves this industry and wants to help others thrive. The owners, operators, and creators who attend our convention are all there because they want the industry to succeed.

About this Talk
Five Star Failures: Hard Learned Lessons on the Path to Improvement
The first time Room Escape Artist visited Riddle Room, it was not a great experience, and the review said as much. This is a company that refused to stay mediocre, but encountered many problems as they strived to improve. Some of the issues Riddle Room dealt with were normal business problems, and others were extraordinary, but each taught a lesson. Riddle Room Co-Owner Byron Delmonico will share his lessons learned, and his resiliency, with the hope that his solutions can help solve your problems or his triumphs can help you find your own success.
About this Speaker
Byron Delmonico
Byron Delmonico started The Riddle Room in 2016 with a middle school friend who predicted his passion and success in the industry. Since 2016 Byron has grown The Riddle Room from a very low-quality initial offering to one of the largest grossing escape rooms in the RI market. With a background like the scene from Happy Gilmore Byron too has had a lot of jobs. He has been a chef, a contractor, a hotel manager, a marketer and much more. In 2020 Byron opened a video game design company and spent 5 years developing online escape rooms aimed at corporate analysis as well as a mobile application for a state-of-the-art open world immersive experience he hopes to launch within the next 3-5 years. In 2022 Byron was named the SBA’s RI Small Business Person of the Year. With a love for his family and all things natural, Byron collects world class minerals and writes a weekly blog about his passion.
