Depending upon your age… and whether or not you had cable in the mid ’90s, this is either amazing or ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ .
I happened upon a collection of t-shirts from the various teams that competed on the Nickelodeon game show
Legends of the Hidden Temple, one of the forerunners to escape games.
T-shirts!
You can choose from all of the teams:
(Clearly the Blue Barracudas are the right choice.)

I have no idea about anything in this post 🙂 However, I love the shirts and was thinking how they (or something like them) could be used for mega games. Each participant blindly draws a package and in it is a variety of things including a shirt that reveals which team they will be joining for the event. Corporate events with roving bands of like-shirted participants pursuing clues, etc is a great optic. And corporate would fund the shirt purchase as part of the overall package.
Each “casual friday” thereafter would be a good excuse to wear the shirts and recall the awesomeness of the event.
That’s a clever idea.
If you’re interested the show, this is a 17 minute documentary on it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=US-WKYA89Ig
Oh wow. I had totally forgotten about this show! How fun! One more piece in the puzzle of why I love escape rooms so much.
Yeah, it randomly pops into my head every once in a while when I’m playing an escape room. I’m loving my Blue Barracuda’s shirt.
