Trapology

Trapology was one of the earliest escape room companies in the US. They currently offer 6 very different escape rooms in their impressive facility. It covers two floors of a building whose large windows give great views of Boston Common located right across the street. Beautiful, comfortable TrapLounges welcome their guests.

Trapology’s outdoor escape adventures take all the best parts of indoor escape games and set them loose on the city of Boston. With the help of augmented reality, you may even get a peek at the secret Boston that hides just out of view from the naked eye.

Founded and designed by a born-and-raised Boston team, all of Trapology’s games are “handcrafted locally with love and a little insanity.” The team consists of Jason, Nicole, Tina, and Mike, who do all things in-house: puzzle design, build, and install. Their gaming production skills are constantly evolving – raising the bar with more clever puzzles, and technologically-advanced ways to present them. 

Crush Depth is a more intense, physical and heavy duty submarine game complete with the evil ghost of the former captain. The Institute volunteers players for a questionable research experiment. The Boobie Trap is a racy, 18+ game that includes plenty of laughs for players and a terrific actor interaction.
