RECON 24 features 2 quintessential Los Angeles experiences coming on-site to our RECON venue: Imagi-Ne’er-Do-Wells & The 49 Boxes. Everyone will take part in both experiences… but if you want to select when you play (and who you play with!) all you need to do is buy your RECON 24 ticket by May 1st, 2024.

About The RECON 24 Schedule

Everyone will participate in Imagi-Ne’er-Do-Wells and The 49 Boxes… but not all at once. These experiences are designed to be more intimate.

Imagi-Ne’er-Do-Wells will run twice during RECON. The 49 Boxes will run in multiple, smaller sessions throughout Sunday and Monday.

RECON is a curated event with a meticulously crafted schedule. Many other events counter-program to the point where you’re forced to choose between the multiple options you really want to engage with. We believe that you should have a chance to see everything you want, and we designed RECON with this in mind.

You will not miss any talks, Q&As, or post-talk breakout sessions for these incredible experiences. You will have ample opportunity to visit the exhibitors and attend the different Birds of a Feather discussions on hot-button industry topics while other folks attend Imagi-Ne’er-Do-Wells and The 49 Boxes.

Every RECON ticket holder will fill out a pre- registration form in advance of RECON to share their session timing selections with the RECON team.

If you buy your RECON Los Angeles ticket by May 1st, you’ll get priority session selection for Imagi-Ne’er-Do-Wells and The 49 Boxes.

Benefits to Priority Session Selection

If you know lots of people coming to RECON, you can select the same sessions as your friends, colleagues, or folks you met at RECON Boston. This way you won’t have to wait for them to experience it before you talk about it!

This also means that you and your friends will have the same unscheduled time where together you can visit the exhibitors, attend the Birds of a Feather sessions, and get meals.

If you don’t know anyone coming to RECON, you can opt into an earlier session, which will be a great way to meet people early in the event. Or you can opt for second day sessions if you prefer to spend your first day with a less rigid schedule.

If you’re a morning person or an evening person, you can select based on when you think you’ll be most able to engage with a game like The 49 Boxes.

If you’re someone who likes to spread out these types of experiences, you can select not to play both on the same day.

RECON is known for personalizing complex schedules to create lasting connections. At RECON Boston in 2022, the RECON team facilitated networking by purposefully grouping creators together for certain experiences. By buying your ticket early, you guarantee that the RECON team will be able to work this magic on your behalf.
