Room Escape Artist

Fall 2026 updates coming soon!

Latest update: February 2026

Madrid might not be the first city you think of when planning an escape room trip to Spain, but it is home to some amazing games. Magic Universe is an experience like you won’t find anywhere else. The Madrid market features comedy, joy, wonder, and of course, horror.

Barcelona is the more well-known Spanish escape room destination city. It’s not exactly nearby, but if you’re doing a multi-city trip, you might want to check out our escape room recommendation guide for Barcelona too.

For more on playing escape rooms in Spain, check out Spain: Escape Room Field Report and Tips for Playing Escape Rooms in Spain as a Foreigner.

Editor’s Note: You’ll notice we don’t have reviews for all of these games. We can assure you that a member of the Room Escape Artist team has played these games and would recommend them. We hope to return to the area and add more reviews from this escape room market.
