Kickstarter – Nerd Keys

A group known as The Key Armory has crushed its Kickstarter funding goals for key shapes inspired by Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, and Thunder Cats.

Basically they are house-key blanks shaped like famous swords.

Kickstarter Nerd Keys — Much as I love *Zelda*… The keyblade is so delightfully on the nose.

I’m confident that there are more than a few room escapes on-theme to match these.

The assorted 1980’s themed games could absolutely get away with Zelda or Thunder Cats keys. Same goes for the few video game themed rooms out there. And it’s really just a matter of time before someone cuts the pretense and makes a Zelda room.

This project closed on Kickstarter on Sunday, January 24, 2016. However, The Key Armory setup a retail site.
