Room Escape Artist

We were first introduced to Andy through her award winning piece Escape from Godot (reviewed by Sarah Willson in 2018). One day we will get to experience that show! In the meantime, we’ve been impressed by many of the other productions she’s led and helped shape. She’s a talented creator.

About Andy

Andy Crocker (she/ her) is a live experience designer and director known for highly participatory, fun-forward pieces. With an expertise in unscripted storytelling, she’s worked with collaborators of all sorts from IndieCade to Imagineering.

She was recently Immersive Performance Director for Knotts Berry Farm’s Ghost Town Alive! as well as the original cast of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. Since 2017 she and her partner (Jeff Crocker) have worked as the design team Mister & Mischief, best known for their absurdist show/game Escape from Godot (REA Legacy Golden Lock Award, TERPECA 2019).

Her delightfully uncategorizable projects have been recognized across industries, winning awards intended for escape rooms, immersive theatre, and themed entertainment. Andy is currently a creator in residence for the Los Angeles Public Library, but when she isn’t messing with Melvil Dewey, Andy is busy with her most challenging project to date: raising an adorable human child.
