This April we are heading to Orlando for the magic of escape rooms.
Escape Immerse Explore: Orlando 2026
The top escape rooms in Orlando showcase humor and character-driven storytelling. On this escape room tour, you’ll experience a variety of styles, and some incredible one-of-a-kind escape games.
This “Orlando” Tour will be more than just Orlando. We’ll go by bus to Clearwater and Port Charlotte, cities on Florida’s west coast that are also home to top tier escape rooms.
This will be our first 4-day tour in North America. This design lets us play more games, and travel the distances between them.

FAQ
Why Orlando?
Our 2023 Orlando Tour was a huge success, and since then, this region has continued on an upward trajectory.
Back in the day, Doldrick’s Escape Room was the first company in the region to grab our attention. Then The Exit Games in Clearwater and The Escape Ventures burst onto the scene. Together, these companies have made this one of the top regions in the United States for high quality escape rooms. We are eager to return with a Tour that will highlight so many fun, interesting, and innovative games. Come see what the fuss is about.
Are there any Golden Lock Award-winning games on this tour?
Yes!
- 2024 Crazy Train at Doldrick’s Escape Room
- 2024 Click ‘N Glitch at The Escape Ventures Port Charlotte
- 2023 Servants of Sleight at The Exit Games FL
- 2023 Pins & Needles Tattoo Parlor at The Exit Games FL
- 2023 Neighborhood Watcher at The Escape Ventures Orlando
- 2023 Operation Arctic Storm: The Final Meltdown at The Escape Ventures Orlando
- 2019: Captain Spoopy Bones And The Magnificent Quest For Some Other Pirate’s Treasure at Doldrick’s Escape Room
Can I buy a ticket if I’ve already played games at these companies in Florida?
That’s going to depend how much you’ve already played.
Contact us. We’ll make it work if we can.
Why isn’t Universal’s Great Movie Escape on the tour?
For more details, see our reviews of Back to the Future: OUTATIME and Jurassic World: Escape.
If you choose to book these games while you are in town, consider yourself warned.
But really, why Florida?
We are acutely aware that some of our guests do not feel comfortable traveling to Florida or simply do not want to. We get it and hope to see you on our next Tour.
This Tour was a delight to run in 2023. There are some wonderful escape room creators here that we feel are worthy of visiting and we want to support their work. If you want to discuss the selection of this Tour destination, please don’t hesitate contact us.
Is there a “Champion” or “VIP” or “Premium” ticket?
No, there is only 1 ticket type for this Tour.
Why is this Tour more expensive than past Tours?
This Tour is longer than past North American Tours, with more games. We’re also traveling much father than our Tours have traveled before. The distance busing is expensive. The price reflects the increased costs.
We believe that this trip is worth it. The game quality is extremely high, and the logistics that we are saving you are significant.
How will we get from game to game?
Our Orlando hotel will be located between Doldrick’s and The Escape Ventures Orlando. You will be able to take Uber/Lyft (or a rental car) to these destinations.
We will go by bus from Orlando to Clearwater (2 hours.)
We will go by bus from Clearwater to Port Charlotte (2 hours), but not all at the same time.
We will go by bus back from Clearwater or Port Charlotte (depending on your schedule) to Orlando.
You do not have to drive the long distances between these companies!
When do events start and end?
There will be a welcome event on Saturday evening, April 11. This is where you get your badge and meet your teammates. We’ll also talk about how to make the most of your Tour experience and to best enjoy these games.
Escape rooms will start on Sunday. It is possible to have a booking as early as 9:30 AM.
We will get back to Orlando on Wednesday evening and have a wrap up event with everyone all together again in Orlando. This might go pretty late. We cannot guarantee that the bus will be back in Orlando in time to catch a Wednesday night flight.
Please plan your travel to Orlando so that you don’t miss any tour events!
I was expecting the spring Tour to be in June. Why is this Tour in April?
Florida is in hurricane territory, so wanted to run this Tour well ahead of hurricane season. We decided on a timing that is after everyone flocks to Florida for Spring Break, but before we get into the busy Florida summer season.
Will I get to choose which rooms I play?
No, but we’ll choose games specifically for you. You’ll fill out a fun pre-tour survey about your escape room preferences. We’re confident you’ll play a lot of games that you’ll love.
The most popular and impressive games in the region will appear on everyone’s schedule unless you opt out of them.
You’ll find out your escape room agenda far enough in advance that you can book additional games for yourself (at discounted prices) during the rest of your time in Orlando.
Can I choose my teammates?
If you purchase 2 tickets together, you’ll play all of your games together.
If you purchase a single ticket, you may flag 1 other person to play all of your games with. We guarantee this request will be honored… provided that you both request one another.
You may request as many people as you’d like to have on your team for at least a few games and we’ll honor these requests to the best of our ability.
Your pre-tour survey will also help us select teammates with whom we think you’ll gel.
I’m coming with a group of friends and we’re going to schedule additional rooms outside of the tour. Can you make sure we play the same schedule during the tour?
Yes, provided your group is 6 people or less.
While you won’t play all your games on the Tour together, we will arrange it so that you play all the same games on the same days, even though you’ll play them at different times. This will simplify your scheduling for additional games and other activities outside of the Tour.
In order to ensure this, you must tell us who you are traveling with in your pre-tour survey.
If your group is more than 6 people, we will not be able to accommodate entirely matched schedules.
I don’t know anyone else coming. Will that be a problem?
Not at all. Coming alone is just an opportunity to meet new friends.
We’ll put you in groups with other escape room enthusiasts from far and wide.
How many people will be on each team?
You’ll play all your games in a team of 4 players.
What if I don’t like my teammates?
We will use the pre-tour surveys to group you with teammates whom we think you’ll enjoy playing with. On past tours, many groups loved playing together so much that they booked additional rooms together at the end of the tour.
That said, we will vary your teammates. You won’t play more than 4 games with the exact same team.
What should I do about airfare and hotels?
Your ticket does not cover travel or lodging. We are setting up two hotel blocks in convenient locations (one in Orlando and one in Clearwater), at discounted rates. Hotel block information will be emailed to ticket purchasers soon.
Are meals included in the ticket price?
We will provide 1 meal as part of the tour. We will also provide snacks and water at the escape room venues and recommendations for convenient meals.
Does the tour include any theme parks?
This tour is focused on escape rooms and does not include theme parks.
If you’re into theme parks, you can coordinate with other tour attendees to visit theme parks together before or after the tour!
I can’t make it these dates. Will you run this Tour again?
We can’t really say. We are planning to run additional tours, but they may go to other destinations.
What about Montreal? Will you run that tour again?
We just ran a Montreal Tour in 2025. It’s too soon to say if/ when we’d run it again, but the chances are good.
But also, RECON is heading that way in 2026. Check out RECON Laval. You can get a ticket here.
How do I choose between coming to this Tour and RECON?
All of our events are designed for both creators and players. RECON Laval will be a professional event that combines learning, entertainment, and conversation. There will be opportunities to play games, but that won’t be the focus of the event. On this Tour, playing escape rooms is the focus.
If it’s impossible for you to attend both events, we suggest that a player lean toward Escape Immerse Explore Orlando and a creator select RECON Laval.
I’m an escape room owner/ employee or immersive experience designer. Can I participate?
Yes! All are welcome.
I have nothing to do with the escape room industry. I just want to play all the games! Can I participate?
Yes! Really… all are welcome.
Can I buy a ticket for someone under 18?
Unfortunately, no. All participants must be 18 years of age at the start of the tour.
This is an insurance thing.
I’m concerned about visiting Florida. Should I buy a ticket?
We know that given the current political climate in Florida, not everyone will feel comfortable visiting the state. We fully understand that some people in our community will opt out. We will work to make our event an inclusive and welcoming space for everyone. That said, we cannot control anything outside of our event; make the right decision for you.
I’m concerned about communicable diseases. Should I buy a ticket?
This is the world we have to operate in now. We do our best to remain aware and adaptable, and support the needs of all guests. If you are high risk, know that a tour is a social event, and make the right decision for you.
Can I sponsor an Escape Immerse Explore event?
Contact us about sponsorship opportunities.
