We just launched pre-sale for Escape Immerse Explore Paris to our Patreon supporters, and tomorrow night pre-sale will be open to past Tour attendees.
This will be our 17th escape room Tour, and our second time bringing an escape room Tour to Europe.

Over the past two years, Paris has emerged as a new powerhouse escape room market. Unlike so many strong escape room regions, Paris isn’t easily associated with a single style of game design. If there is a defining feature of Parisian escape rooms it’s a profound playfulness. Whether the game is intense, action-packed, or scary, there is a sense of playfulness that permeates everything that we found in this city.
We didn’t visit Paris expecting to create a Tour in 2026, but by the end of our trip we weren’t just confident that we could run a Tour… we felt compelled to do so immediately.
David Talks About Pre-Sale
Here are the pre-sale details David shared in our Patreon Discord channel and our Tour Alumni Discord channel:
tap… tap… tap…I have a statement to make…
The Tour dates are: Monday, November 9 – Thursday, November 12, 2026. We strongly encourage people to get there a couple of days early to both avoid travel issues and adjust for jetlag. At this time, I will take a few questions.
David! How much horror will be on this Tour? How similar is it to the Netherlands Tour?
Yes, there are a few horror games on this tour. No, the density of horror isn’t as dominant as the Netherlands Tour. There are even a couple of horror games that have ways of playing without catching the scares… and this doesn’t undermine the experience for anyone.
Umm, David…Paris hasn’t really been in the conversation of “great escape room cities.” Why are we going there?
Paris entered the chat a couple of years ago, and has been building up steam in a serious way. Pardon the mixed metaphors. The games in this city are incredibly playful and compelling. I also think that Paris is sitting on a contender for top game in the world.
Excusez-moi?! The one true top game in the world is in a different French-speaking location. What is this heresy?
I love Magnifico as much as the next escape room nerd. I’d be perfectly content if it hangs out on top next year. I’m not angling for anything to happen…but I will say that of all of the games that I have played, Zone 51 at Live Cinema is the only game that I have experienced that rivals it. They are very different from one another. I am already annoyed that I’m going to have to pick one over the other in November. There really is a lot riding on elections this fall.
Speaking of elections, is this Tour overlapping with Election Day in the US?
Not at all. We have deliberately scheduled this so that we aren’t traveling on Election Day. Ya’ll really should vote and we’re not going to be a hinderance.
How does presale work?
I’m going to let Lisa take this one…
Hi, I’m here too… and per usual… I’m talking less but saying more important things.
On Friday night, I sent out the email announcement launching pre-sale. This email went to everyone who has been on past Tours, Patreon supporters, and anyone who has asked to be added to the “Tour email list” over the years. (Fill out our contact form for this.)
Fill out the form on the Paris Tour Page to purchase a ticket.
You will then receive your invoice on a first come, first served basis, according to the following schedule:
- May 15 (already sent) – REA Patreon Backers at $30/month and up
- May 18 (tomorrow) – Past Tour Attendees
Invoices go out around 10:30pm ET. These are not automated (even though I am often confused with automation), so that timing is approximate. Tickets are not confirmed until the invoice is sent and paid.
Pre-sale will end on May 25th at 9:00 PM ET. If you don’t have presale access, you’ll receive your invoice then, provided tickets are still available.
This is a slightly different approach to pre-sale. Why the change?
We’re trying to simplify things and make Lisa’s life easier.
May 25th at 9:00 PM is a very specific time to end pre-sale. What’s the story?
That is the exact time that we will release the Reality Escape Pod interview with Live Cinema… and if there are any tickets left, that’s when regular sales open.
