Updated Escape Room Recommendations Guides for MA & CA

We’re excited to (finally!) have updated recommendation guides in two popular markets: Massachusetts and Southern California.

Boston, Massachusetts Escape Room Guide

Massachusetts Updates

With RECON 22 Boston sold out, and registration forms coming in, we have updated our 2 Massachusetts recommendation guides. For everyone traveling to Boston in August, here’s what you need to know:

Boston, Massachusetts: Room Escape Recommendations – The standout games are from Boxaroo, Red Fox Escapes, and Trapology, the companies we’ll be featuring at RECON. (Of note, we’ll be playing Red Fox Escapes’ newest game, The Body Shop in a few weeks and we expect to add it to this guide after we visit.) If you’re looking for addition escape games in Boston, consider visiting Room Escapers as well.

Greater Massachusetts: Room Escape Recommendations – If you’re renting a car, head out to The Gate Escape in Leominster and PuzzlEscape in Hudson. These two companies are great additions to your Massachusetts escape room agenda. This guide is now updated with new reviews of both companies by Theresa W and Kate Wastl.

Southern California Updates

We played so many games on our recent trip to Southern California that you can expect these reviews to continue publishing in July. Although there are more reviews still to come, we’ve updated the guides.

Los Angeles, California: Escape Room Recommendations – For Los Angeles, we’ve added a few newer companies (since our previous iteration of this guide): Breaking Point Escape Rooms, Escape Revolution, Ministry of Peculiarities, and Quest Tavern.

Anaheim, California: Room Escape Recommendations – The Anaheim guide now includes some of the newer market entrants including Exit Game, Infinity Escape, Hidden Donkey, Not Another Escape Room, and Scenario Escape.

San Diego, California: Room Escape Recommendations – After Matthew’s recent trip to San Diego, we’ve added a number of new companies to this guide including Locked Adventures, MindFox Escape, and Top Tier Escape Rooms… plus new rooms from Steal and Escape.
