Visitors to Paris can enjoy the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral, and cafes and patisseries on almost every street corner. But Paris should also be a destination on your escape room travels, as this beautiful city has a robust market offering a variety of styles of escape room.

Unlike so many strong escape room regions, Paris isn’t easily associated with a single style of game design. In this city we delighted in immersive worlds with impressive sets in and around the games, which can sometimes be played as connected experiences. We found compelling narratives, often highlighted by entertaining actor interactions. Other experiences revolved around unusual game mechanics.

If there is a defining feature of Parisian escape rooms it’s a profound playfulness. Whether the game is intense, action-packed, or scary, there is a sense of playfulness that permeates the experiences in this city.
